Chorus Information
Rehearsals will be at First Baptist Church (501 W Fifth Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Due to construction on rear, enter from west side (Poplar Street) where there is ramp, or other street parking if you are able to walk.
We rehearse each Sunday and Tuesday in the month of November. Rehearsals are open to anyone interested in performing or just learning the music (it is not unusual for someone to sit out a year if they do not know the piece well enough). The first couple weeks will be primarily sectionals with a short combined section at the end.

Rehearsals the week of performance include Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The chorus members will need to have a Watkins Shaw edition of the Messiah for the performance. Copies can be purchased at the rehearsals. Chorus members are expected to make at least 75% of the weekly rehearsals and of the performance week rehearsals which are with Maestra Kuzma.
David Williamson, Minister of Worship and the Arts at First Baptist Church, conducts the weekly rehearsals. Terry Hicks is the rehearsal accompanist.
